If I have a cold or headache or anything that requires
medicine, I don't take the medicine. I never take pills for a
headache or a cold. I go the natural way and drink liquids and
let it go away naturally.

Cure for nose bleeding

Place a piece of brown paper bag folded to about a half inch,
place this folded piece of paper between the upper lip and the
upper gum. Have the person who has the nose bleed to keep their
head straight forward.

James Callow comment: See Hand, North Carolina, nos. 1871-1872. Many of the
sources in the bibliographical notes recommend stopping a nose
bleed with a folded paper that is wet, sometimes from soaking in
vinegar.
