Notes:

One-time largest vessel on the Great Lakes.  In seasons 1887 and 1888 carried the single largest cargoes through Soo Locks (3,048 and 2,849 tons, respectively).  Name is shortened version of Iroquois Indian word "Onackatin" which refers to the Espopus Chief, one who signed the Treaty of 1669.
